Let's Play Catch Up

I've gotten a bit off track the last couple of weeks. Things are just a bit hectic. I PROMISE I will be better about writing on more of a daily basis. I'm going to try anyways. Lots of stress right now.

Last week I painted a wall in our living room, GREEN. I love it. It's vibrant and soo much energy in the color. Color makes me happy. With all the navy and black for work, and then all these white walls at home...this girl NEEDS some color!

I absolutely love this way this turned out especially with all of our brown. Yea for color!!!

Monday night Josh cooked salmon and asparagus...my new favorite. I wish we could eat it more often. I think I just need to pay attention to how Josh does it so I can make it on my own.

Hopefully we can have it again this week. I have a lot to do when I get home too. Josh's birthday is Wednesday so lots and lots to do! He hasn't really said much about it so I'm just going to wing it I suppose. Last year I made this cake:

Yeah, that took 8 hours! I won't be doing that this year...maybe something big for 30.

Well two more days of flying and I get to go home, unless this one girl gives me her standup which will give me some more hours for the next paycheck. Gotta make some more money!
