It's Started

I gotten woken up super early on Sunday morning from a crying baby in the apartment next to us. I'm starting to think there was a reason behind that. See, it was only 5AM and while Josh was sound asleep I started laundry, went to Wal-Mart, and started putting things together, and watching "I Used to be Fat" on MTV. I think that was the fire that needed to be lit under my rear end. If these teenagers can lose 90 ponds in less than 100 days then surely I can lose the 20-30 that I need in order to be back in the healthy range for my height! Sure makes you feel bad about yourself.

Josh has said time and time again that we need to get healthier and he's right. It's easier for me to go to the grocery store by myself because then I don't buy the ice cream and corn dogs that he likes to get when he goes with me. However, we are both responsible for what we eat and if that is his choice then that doesn't mean it has to be mine. I normally pack pretty healthy in my lunch bag. I just neeed to work on eating smaller portions more often. I just need to remind myself to EAT!!!! I just get too caught up in working that I don't make time for myself.

It's my second 4 day for the year of 2011 and I made the choice to bring my yoga mat and my pilates bar on my trips. While yesterday was all about comutting back into SLC (which I barely made it on the flight), cleaning up the last of the apartment, and turning in the keys, today was not. Yesterday was a long day and I did sleep in a bit but today I made the first step into working out on a regular basis. Today I did 60 minutes on the eliptical which equaled 510 calories and 4.68 miles. I also did some exercises with the pilates bar and a measly 20 situps. I know it will get easier the more I do it so I'm set on this now. 20 pounds cant haunt me. This way, now all of you know and I can stick to it!!!

I would really like to do a weekend at a spa to have a few services to really cleanse and detox though too. All in time, all in time!!!
